We recently used Lektek to route power to our new office building. Matt attended the site and came up with a very cost effective plan for the work (which was 40% below another quote) He and one of his staff carried out the work very professionally and to a very high standard. Lektek provide a whole encompassing Facilities Management Service which means we were able to ask them to carry out further in the building of a plumbing nature. Great company and service. Matt Long and the electricians from Lektek Ltd have been visiting my premises on regular basis, over the last few months; repairing flood damaged electrical work in the garden, and routing the cable work for a Smart TV internally.

We also had some external lighting fitted to illuminate our front garden, to the side of our drive — however the wholesalers provided the incorrect junction box which should have provided the facility to allow either a standard on/off switch (to be sited in our porch) or a remotely controlled switch to be utilised.

After, several visits, and further discussions with the wholesaler, Matt took it upon himself to speak with the manufacturers who confirmed that the junction box should be changed. Everything was swiftly changed and now is working beautifully.
Nothing was too much trouble for Matt and his team — they are always polite, courteous and professional in everything that they undertake.


I would have no hesitation in recommending Lektek Ltd for all things electrical.

The project was an office extension that doubled the size of our two storey office on Severn Drive. Matt and his team knocked through to the adjoining unit on both floors, painted, installed data feeds into the floor ports, installed new sockets, prepared the data room and carpeted throughout the new unit with minimal disruption to the day to day running of the business.

The quality of the work was excellent, the project was delivered to very tight deadlines, they worked day and night, and came in every day over the Easter weekend to meet the completion date.

A project of this size is always going to have it’s moments, but Matt was approachable, readily available and responded quickly to emails and calls.


Our project manager is very happy with the work that Matt has done, and had a meeting today to discuss phase 2 of the project, and he will happily recommend Matt and his team to anybody else on the business park looking at a similar project.

As part of our process to formalise our office setup and recognising the need to provide a safe working environment, I contacted Matt Long from Lektek in order to carry out some PAT work. Within a week, a polite and extremely competent engineer had tested all our office equipment, with no disruption to our work and no mess. We had an electrical problem with a tenanted property so we asked Matt to resolve it for us. He duly sent his electricians in to rectify matters. This they did, causing as little disruption as possible, to the tenant who was in at the time.

The next day the tenant rang up to complain that whilst he had hot water for the shower, there was no hot water to the kitchen or bathroom sinks. I rang Matt who was on a job in London with his team. This was not however a problem as after speaking to the electrician who had done the job, he was able to ring me with simple instructions for the tenant to resolve the issue.

Tenants are a law to themselves and said that having done what he was asked to do (push a switch!) it hadn't worked.

As Matt & his team were miles away I was thinking that this could be an issue as the tenant was not going to be happy having to wait for this to be sorted. I should not have worried as Matt always has a plan B up his sleeve and someone else he can call on.

I was able to tell my tenant that an emergency electrician was on his way to sort the problem out. It is good to have someone reliable that you can depend on in a situation like this.

Lektek do our PAT testing every year and are always prompt, professional and good to work with. The best bit is that THEY contact US with a reminder that the test is due, and also pencil in a date and time (taking all the hassle away!). Highly recommended.

I asked Matt Long of Lektek Ltd, if he could help me with my office electrical systems, as I was converting my garage into an office. Matt, said that he would be around on the Wednesday morning at 11am - he was there on time and listened to what I thought that I needed, and then prompted me in the right direction as to what I actually needed and what he knew would work.


The builder, who had not worked with Matt's firm previously, asked me when the 'Sparky' would be around to do his 'first fix', as it would hold them up. for a couple of days. I asked him when I needed them, he replied "well today would be good" (half joking), I telephoned.Matt and within an hour Dan (Matt's employee) was on site - doing the 'first fix' The builder was absolutely gobsmacked ! Since then Matt has put in a data cabinet, a heater and some display lighting and I am more than satisfied with the fantastic level of service that has been offered to me.
